Cosmetic Tattoo - Before
DO NOT drink coffee or alcohol 24 hours prior to your appointment - this can cause excess bleeding and may affect your results.
Avoid blood-thinning medication for 2 weeks prior to your treatment, including fish oils, aspirin, ibuprofen and Nurofen. Make sure to seek advice from your doctor if you have been prescribed and of these medications.
Avoid tanning, tanning products and the possibility of getting sunburnt for two weeks prior to your appointment.
Please come to your appointment with ideas of what you may like - photos are great!
[BROWS] Do not have your brows waxed, threaded or tinted 7 days before your appointment.
[BROWS] To save approximately 30 minutes, purchase Emla cream or Nummit from your local chemist and apply a generous amount to the tattoo area - cover the whole area if possible. If you do not plan to do this, please arrive 20 minutes early for your appointment for your first numbing to be applied. We recommend bring a book or something to keep you busy while you wait!
Cosmetic Tattoo - After
[BROWS] Your brow area will feel tender and sting, this will subside within 24 hours. They will appear darker, and more defined for 2-3 days and may scale from day 3-7 (do not pick or scratch this off). Redness and swelling is generally minimal, so you can go back to your daily routine straight away if you wish!
